All the Beach You Can Eat
Sweetypie
From: $250/night
on the beach with the best view
“I came so far I thought I’d die and then I found the Sweetypie””
It’s a sweet cabin on the beach with a crazy great view, looking at Tow Hill to the right, waves directly ahead, and an uninterrupted beach line to the left where the sun sets into the ocean — it’s sweet. On a clear day you’ll see Alaska mountain peaks. It’s made entirely of beach-combed red cedar, yellow cedar, fir, and spruce. No trees died to make any of our cabins. The ceiling is exposed beams with 16” cedar boards. The kitchen has a 2-burner propane cooktop, and is furnished with ample pots, pans, dishes and cutlery. There’s a BBQ on the deck that doubles as an oven and a high quality cooler for refrigeration (bring ice). The kitchen is plumbed with running cold water. Drinking water is supplied.
The cabin has an upstairs bedroom with a queen bed, and a foldout couch on the main floor. It can sleep four but is perfect for two. The sweetypie is our second smallest cabin. We supply all the quality bedding and towels you could want. Battery lanterns and solar lamps, complete it to make a comfortable and romantic off-grid stay on the beach. The Sweetypie heats with a wood stove, and has an attached woodshed with firewood and a splitting maul. Behind the cabin in the sun is a private, rainwater dependant, on-demand. propane heated, hot shower. The outhouse is called the Sweetypoo.
