This small yet spacious cabin is perfect for groups, families or couples, sleeping six or so. There's two queen beds on the main floor, a loft with a queen bed, and a second loft, accessible from the first, called the monkey cage as it is just right for sleeping one child or an adventurous adult. Surrounded by trees and salal it is exquisitely private. In spring it is serenaded by frogs looking for love.
Frogmore is pole-construction, using salvaged wood beachcombed and milled. It heats with a wood stove, firewood provided. The kitchen is complete with a propane range. The cabin is off-grid (no power) with solar lamps and battery operated lanterns. It is plumbed with cold running water. Drinking water is supplied along with pots, pans, cutlery, dishes, towels, linens and a cooler for your food. Just bring ice. The front porch is beam construction, has a BBQ, and a built-in shower stall with a hot on-demand, propane heated, rain water shower. The beach is a minute away. Follow the mossy path. You will hear the surf and sea birds from the porch. The sunny back porch overlooks virgin forest and there you will find the path to the outhouse complete with a sink and running water.
